OFFICIAL RULES - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

 

 

1) HOW TO ENTER:

Completely fill out the online form with valid name and contact information. Entrants will be signed up for the WillametteValleyFun.com email newsletter. Each newsletter includes an easy unsubscribe link, and registrant's email and personal information will not be traded or sold. Entries may also be mailed. To enter by mail, print name, address, city, state, ZIP, and complete email address, on a 3 1/2"x5" piece of paper, insert in an envelope and mail to: Dark Mountain Productions, VIP Contest, PO Box 24332, Eugene, OR 97402. All entries must be received at or before 11:59 p.m. on July 30, 2008. Limit one entry per person.

No responsibility is assumed by participating establishments or companies or WillametteValleyFun.com {Sponsor], and entrants waive all claims for lost, late, illegible or misdirected online and mailed entries or for any problems of technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, software, failure of any email service or any combination thereof including without limitation any damage to entrant's or any other person's computer resulting from participation in this promotion.

Any attempt to damage WillametteValleyFun.com online site or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made Sponsor reserves right to prosecute violators to the fullest extent allowable by law.

2) PRIZE:

GRAND PRIZE: A total of one (1) grand prize will be awarded. Grand prize includes a six-hour limousine ride for winner and up to seven (7) friends. Winner and accompanying guests will ride in a limousine accompanied by up to two (2) staff members from Dark Mountain Productions LLC/ WillametteValleyFun.com.

Scheduled stops will be made at local establishments in the Eugene/Springfield area (to be determined) at which winners and accompanying guests will receive free drinks AND/OR free appetizers AND/OR free cover.

Free amenities are SOLELY at the discretion of the participating establishments and Dark Mountain Productions LLC/ WillametteValleyFun.com.

United States federal, state & local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted.

3) PRIZE DRAWING:

Winner(s) will be selected based upon creativity of entry received. Judging will be conducted on or about July 30, 2008 by staff members of WillametteValleyFun.com. whose decisions are final on issues relating to this sweepstakes. The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Judging will take place in Eugene, OR. Winner will be notified by email or phone within one (1) business day of drawing date. If Sponsor is unable to contact potential winner(s) by email or phone, or if any potential winner fails to respond to the prize notification within three (3) days of issuance of notification or if any winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, an alternate winner(s) shall be selected by judges.

Winners of prizes valued at more than $600 U.S. may be mailed and required to sign affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability releases, and return same, properly executed within three (3) days of notification.

By acceptance of prize, winners consent to the use of their name and photographic likeness for promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

If, in the judges' opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the contest, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the contest, the judges reserve the right to terminate the contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible online and write-in entries received as of the termination date. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the WillametteValleyFun.com web site.

4) ELIGIBILITY:

Winners must be 21 years of age or older and must possess a valid Oregon picture ID.

This contest is open to Oregon residents 21 years of age or older who possess a valid Oregon picture ID who enter online or via postal mail by 11:59 p.m., July 30, 2008. Entrants will be required to provide a valid Oregon picture ID prior to departure and agree that rude, obnoxious or lacivious behavior, excessive intoxication or other inappropriate behavior will result in immediate dismissal of winner and/or accompanying guests, and that determination of such behavior is at the sole discretion of Sponsor(s).

 

Entrants also understand that the limousine will make scheduled stops at local establishments, and that it is the winners/accompanying guests responsibility to be at the limousine at the designated time.

This promotion is not open to employees/independent contractors of Dark Mountain Productions LLC/ WillametteValleyFun.com and its affiliates, licensees, franchisees, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members of each. By entering, participants without limitation, release and hold harmless Dark Mountain Productions LLC/ WillametteValleyFun.com and its affiliates, licensees, franchisees, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind in connection with this contest or acceptance and use of a prize won. Prize subject to availablity. In the event that the prize cannot be awarded on the date specified, Sponsor(s) will attempt to fulfill grand prize of equal or greater value within a reasonable period of time. Void where prohibited.

5) WINNER'S LIST:

The name of the winner(s) will be posted on or about August 1, 2007 on the WillametteValleyFun.com web site. The list may also be obtained by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Dark Mountain Productions, VIP Contest, PO Box 24332, Eugene, OR 97402.
